Strategies for Low Intervention Birth - Duluth, MN

This registration is for the in-person option

This class focuses on non-medical comfort strategies you can use during labor. Topics include relaxation & guided imagery, music, aromatherapy, birthing ball, movement, positioning, massage, and using a tub or shower. You'll gain tips on how to make a peaceful transition from home through hospital labor and birth. Your labor coach is encouraged to come with you.

This class is for those who desire to learn techniques for a natural birth, and it does not present the same information as the Childbirth Preparation classes.

Class is held in-person but has a virtual option using Microsoft Teams. Please navigate back to the class options to find this virtual option. 

The class will be in the Mission Conference room in the new hospital. Directions to the class are below.

• Park in the Green Ramp off 2nd street
  • Green Ramp
  • Walk across 2^nd Street to the new hospital
  • Use the Main Entrance
  • Take a right at the registration desk toward the coffee shop
  • Turn left at the coffee shop and walk down the hall
  • The Mission Conference room will be on the left
  • If you got to the cafeteria, you went too far
  • There should be plenty of staff around to ask directions
