EpicCare Link is a secure web-based portal that connects you to information stored in the Essentia Health EMR for your referred and admitted patients.

As your patients receive care from Essentia Health, we will send you notifications and updates. You will have the ability to securely communicate with the patients’ providers or staff to plan the patients’ ongoing care.

After submission, your request will be reviewed, and you will be notified of the next steps via email.

Radiology images, EKG tracings, and behavioral health documentation are not viewable in Essentia Health EpicCare Link.

Radiology reports and EKG interpretations are available in EpicCare Link.

Add User: To add a user the designated Site Manager will complete the EpicCare Link User Template. We will only accept add user requests from the designated Site Manager.

Term User: Contract requirements require the Site Manager to notify Essentia Health Service Desk within 24 hours of termination by completing the EpicCare Link User Template. 

Per contract requirements, the EpicCare Link partner will be required to validate to Essentia Health user access by completing Exhibit C on a quarterly basis (January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1).

Per contract requirements, the liaison will notify Essentia Health of any unauthorized use or disclosure to the Essentia Health Privacy Officer with (1) working day.
