Haley Faynik, PA⁠–⁠C

Haley Faynik, PA-C, is a family medicine provider. She joined Essentia Health in April 2023.

Haley earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, in December 2022. During her training, she completed clinical rotations in several areas, including cardiology, emergency medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, psychiatry, orthopedics, family medicine, women’s health, general surgery, and OB/GYN. She received her bachelor's degree in physiology from the University of Minnesota in May 2018, where she also did research and wrote a thesis in neonatology (the care of newborns).

Haley completed a Rural Medicine Fellowship through North Dakota State University during her first year at Essentia Health. She is a member of both the American Academy of Physician Associates and the Minnesota Academy of Physician Associates.

Outside of work, Haley enjoys spending time with her family and dog, playing soccer, going to church, playing piano, and reading. She is especially interested in preventive care, managing long-term (chronic) conditions, treating short-term (acute) illnesses, mental health, and doing minor medical procedures.
