Essentia Health-Ashland Clinic welcomes family medicine specialist Dana Covey

Dana Covey, a certified physician assistant specializing in family medicine, is thrilled to join the Essentia Health-Ashland Clinic. She grew up in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, and is excited to be back in her home state.

"I chose Essentia because of the inviting and supportive environment," said Covey. "I was looking for a clinic in the area that provided quality patient care and would help me grow as a provider."

Covey received her education from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

“I chose family medicine because I like forming long-term relationships with patients, and I like variety in my daily schedule,” said Covey. “I love learning about new things and becoming well-rounded.”
