Essentia Health-Fosston Clinic welcomes family medicine specialist Dr. Amanda Jackson-Morgan

Dr. Amanda Jackson-Morgan, who specializes in family medicine, is excited to join the Essentia Health-Fosston Clinic.

"I wanted to practice at Essentia Health-Fosston so I could continue to practice full-spectrum rural family medicine," explained Dr. Jackson-Morgan. "I enjoy working in all aspects of patient care — clinic, hospital and OB. The welcoming and supportive community was also an important factor in choosing to come to Fosston."

Dr. Jackson-Morgan received her medical degree from Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She completed a residency in family medicine at the Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan.

"I chose family medicine to build long-lasting relationships with patients and their families," said Dr. Jackson-Morgan. "Being able to connect with a patient and really getting to know someone holistically is unique to family practice."
