Gastroenterology specialist Erica Williams joins Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic

The Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic is excited to welcome Erica Williams, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner specializing in gastroenterology. She first joined Essentia about 20 years ago and is thrilled to be back.

“Essentia is where it all began for me as a nurse and nurse practitioner,” said Williams. “The organization has changed so much, but seeing so many familiar faces again feels like coming home.”

Williams received her education from the College of St. Scholastica and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

“I’ve been fascinated by the body’s microbiome for years,” said Williams. “We continue to learn more about the importance of intestinal health for our overall wellness than we ever have. I’m excited to join this specialty and have a positive impact on my patients and their health."
