Treatment Plans
The hyperbaric medicine team uses the following treatment plans for patients, depending on diagnosis:
Micro vascular fluorescence microangiography - real-time blood flow imaging to track progression of non-healing wounds, grafts, or flaps.
Transcutaneous oximetry – simple, reliable, non-invasive diagnostic method of measuring oxygen and blood flow around wounds on the feet or legs.
Treatment plans typically go from 1 to 40 treatment sessions based on the person and their needs. Each session involves a 90 to 120-minute dive into the hyperbaric chamber. To make sure treatment is working, and ultrasound of your blood flow may be done throughout the treatment.
