What's a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine?
Like medical doctors (MDs), osteopathic doctors (DOs) go to medical school and complete a residency. However, DOs attend osteopathic medical school, which includes specialized training in the musculoskeletal system. These schools also emphasize wellness and prevention.
What's OMT?
Our doctor of osteopathic medicine will use his hands to apply powerful, yet gentle pressure to your nerves, muscles, bones, and joints. During OMT, your doctor won't crack or force any part of your body, but rather work to release tension.

Treatment Benefits
OMT can improve a wide range of health conditions, especially bone and muscle-related issues. OMT may also help with conditions like ear aches, sinus infections, sprains, and pregnancy pain to name a few. It can also:
- Promote your body’s natural healing ability
- Ease muscle pain and other symptoms
- Reduce stress in the body by relieving restrictions in your nerves, muscles, bones, and joints
- Balance your nervous system that influences internal organ function
- Improve your overall mobility
Personalized Care Plan
Our doctor of osteopathic medicine may use a physical exam as well as lab and imaging tests to diagnose your condition and develop a personalized care plan. You will be asked to provide information about your diet, lifestyle, and sleeping habits. This information will help identify things that may be contributing to your illness and injury.
