Essentia Health in the Community Car Seat Training

Essentia Health -Virginia and the City of Virginia Fire Department are teaming up for Car Seat Check-Ups. Colleagues Angela VanDuker, RN, and Nikki Flannigan, RN, from the Virginia Birthplace, are certified car seat technicians working with the Fire Department to provide this service to the community. The next check-up will be July 24, 2024, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the Virginia Fire Department.

World Refugee Day in Fargo

Essentia Health was a proud sponsor of World Refugee Day in Fargo. This event showcased food from local, refugee-owned restaurants, performers, and speakers that shared their personal experience and the stories of refugee groups in Fargo. Also present were community partners that provide services benefiting refugees as they begin their new lives in Fargo and strive toward self-sufficiency!
